WestWater were recently contracted to design and construct a pilot RO system, with an automated Filtration Plant and chemical dosing package for Degremont. The pilot plant is to be utilised at the client’s new Victorian desalination site.
The system was constructed in two sections: The first section was the filtration skid The second section was a 40ft container housing the instrumentation and chemical dosing systems.
Additionally, WestWater were later contracted to build the Seawater Reverse Osmosis (RO) Pilot Plant to treat the output of the filtration plant. All three sections were installed on site and communicate via ethernet.
